Registered Finnsheep
We breed mainly registered Finnsheep in central Alberta, however we also have a Canadian Arcott Ram and new to us for the 2022 breeding season was a Charollais Ram.
Have a look around and feel free to drop us a line with any questions.
We moved to our farmstead in 2015 and in the years since many things have changed for us. We have added many animals and two beautiful children to the mix since then. While life has become more hectic and busier than ever it is also more rewarding to see our farm and family flourish.
Commonly known as Finnsheep or Finns, the Finnish Landrace breed has been in Canada since the 1960's with the first animals being imported by the universities of Alberta and Manitoba.
Our main focus was originally purebred Finnsheep but as we have been experimenting with crossbreeding we have really come to love the Canadian x Finnsheep, for their size, lambing numbers and their surprisingly amazing fleece! We are excited to see what the Charollais ram can bring the the flock as a terminal sire as well.
As our farm has grown we have lots of extras that come with that. Which means we also have other things alongside of sheep for sale. Projects still in the making, more livestock and whatever else tickles our fancy.
